COURSE DESCRIPTION

Thiscourse covers the basics of the insolvency regime in the UK, but goes into some detail in many significant areas.  It encompasses corporate, partnership and personal insolvency.  It gives practical examples and guides the attendee through the relevant legislation.

WHO THE COURSE IS AIMED AT

This course will provide an essential understanding  of UK insolvency for any professional who does not already work in the insolvency sector.

PAUL HARRIS

Paulis a solicitor and previous Regional Chairman of R3 with extensive insolvency experience having worked in this area for over 18 years during which he hasadvised on the insolvency of a significant number of professional footballclubs, the rescue of numerous manufacturing companies, pursuing directors for misfeasance and defending directors in disqualification proceedings.  As well as his position as head of Insolvency at his current law firm, he also leads a Retail Restructuring Unit.
